Ruthless!The Musical: The Musical is a parody of The Bad Seed, Gypsy, All About Eve, and a host of other shows. A cynical, and slightly evil romp, loaded with witty lyrics that wink at the various stories parodied. The music is witty as well, with echoes of Gypsy, A Chorus Line, George Gershwin, Sondheim and stars a 12 year-old, Kathryn A. Foley, who’s sure to knock your socks off!

Director John Maio is the past artistic and managing director of Altarena Playhouse, where he received audience acclaim for Forever Plaid, and Nunsense, among other productions. He is well known to Bay Area audiences for both acting in and directing musicals, comedies and dramas for more than 30 years.

Joe Simiele will be musical director for the show and Camille Larrea, choreographer. Appearing with Kathryn Foley will be Bevin Bell, John Blytt, Shannon Wicker-Mitchell, Shari Oret, and Jessica Magers-Rankin.
