In a small West Texas dime store, the “Disciples of James Dean” fan club gather for their twentieth reunion.   They were all  teenaged girls when Dean filmed GIANT two decades ago in nearby Marfa.   One of them, an extra in the film, continues to insist that Dean fathered her son, the Jimmy Dean of the title.  As with most reunions, everyone and everything is not exactly as it seems.

In Mr. Graczyks’ words….”the play can only be described as the result of my own observations and frustrations with progress that ignores the past/ the lack of pride and the recurring need of people to build facades to conceal the truths of their lives”. A funny, poignant, memorable evening in the theatre.
